Update on Graduate Programs

OCU president, Dr. Ron Dempsey, announced a one-year cease of operations in the undergraduate programs at the university for the 2026-27 school year.  This cease DOES NOT include the graduate programming.

President Dempsey stated, “This temporary shutdown does not include the graduate programs as they are self-sustaining.  We look forward to continuing the graduate program.  It remains in place and is not affected by the year suspension of the undergraduate program.”

We look forward to continuing with your program as it will remain in place and fully operating in summer session A and for those scheduled to take part in session B.

Oakland City University has a proud past of preparing some of the Midwest’s most outstanding school superintendents, central office personnel, and building-level administrators, and business leaders. We look forward to continuing to serve you in these capacities and will continue to accept new student enrollments into the future.
