Students are the reason that Oakland City University exists. Scholarships are crucial to the success of students. There has never been a time when your support could aid more deserving students than now. The Scholarships for Oaks Campaign raises funds that will go directly to student scholarships.
As a model for the Christian university in the 21st Century, Oakland City University has consistently been ranked by the U.S. News & World Report as a Best College in the Midwest. Oakland City prepares its graduates to “Go Forth To Serve” in a vast array of callings including: ministry, education, business, criminal justice, science, applied mathematics, and many more. From class projects to internships, critical thinking skills to real-world problem solving, Oakland City graduates are proven leaders.

Scholarships for Oaks Campaign
The Scholarships for Oaks Campaign is an annual campaign where gifts are used to fund current year scholarships for Oakland City University students.
We are asking the University’s constituency to support the campaign by making an annual commitment to these scholarships. Those who give $1,000 per year will have an annual scholarship awarded in his or her name. All gifts will go directly to students in the form of scholarships for tuition, room, board, and student fees. If donors make a gift in multiples of $1,000, then they will have multiple annual scholarships given in their name or the name of their choosing. Students will be informed of the named scholarship and will acknowledge the donor.
The annual scholarships differ from our endowed scholarships in that a donor must contribute each year in order to maintain the named scholarships.
