MDV-602M Ministry in Context 2

This second course allows for a second semester in a structured learning experience in an actual ministry setting.

As in MDV 601M, the purpose of the course is to allow the student to acquire and develop appropriate attitudes and behaviors related to professional ministry. Students will draw upon their ministry experience as a source of data for reflection and action in weekly sessions with the instructor and student peers. The course demands the completion of steps approximately two (2) months prior to the beginning of the semester. These steps include the development of a project contract (covenant) by the student, securing supervision at a ministry site, a criminal background check, and faculty approval of the contract.

The course is assessed on a pass-fail system. Individual letter grades are not used.
