OCU Professor Carries Indiana Bicentennial Torch

Oakland City University is proud to have Dr. Randy Mills, OCU professor and historian as a member of the relay team.  Mills carried the torch for a 1.8 mile leg of the journey, just west of Princeton.

Sunday, September 11th’s Gibson County portion of the Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay celebration was a success, with no fewer than 30 area individuals taking part in the relay.   The relay kicked off just south of Owensville at 2:00pm before winding its way 43.4 miles through the county—making stops in Owensville, Fort Branch, Princeton, Lyles Station, and Patoka—before eventually ending at U.S. 41 north near the Knox County line at approximately 5:30pm.
