Pictures with Santa Fundraiser

OCU Cheerleaders are having a fundraiser. Have your child's photo taken with Santa!  Photos with Santa will be held on Sunday, December 2nd, from 1:00 - 3:00pm.  The event will be held in the Cornwell-Reed auditorium.  We hope to see you there!

Cost

$10 for the first photo
$5 for each additional photo (per family)

Gospel Night at OCU

Oakland City University is proud to present The Isaacs and The Hoppers at our 2018 Gospel Night. The event will be held in Johnson Center.  Doors will open at 6:00 pm CST with the concert starting at 7:00 pm CST. All seating is open seating with handicapped seating available on the floor level.

Guest Lecturer - Pastor Jose Rene Rodriguez

The Department of Music in conjunction with Chapman Seminary will be hosting guest lecturer. Pastor Jose Rene Rodriguez, on October 1st. Pastor Rodriguez comes from California and leads the Hispanic church initiatives for General Baptist ministries both in the US and in Mexico.

Under his guidance, the reach of General Baptist ministries has grown exponentially, from 6 churches about six years ago to nearly 40 today! He will be joining us to present information on Hispanic Christianity in the US and talk through the unique cultural traits found in Hispanic Christian worship.

Synopsis

Elwood P. Dowd is an affable man who claims to have an unseen (and presumably imaginary) friend Harvey — whom Elwood describes as a six-foot, one-and-one-half-inch tall pooka resembling an anthropomorphic rabbit. Elwood introduces Harvey to everyone he meets. His social-climbing sister, Veta, increasingly finds his eccentric behavior embarrassing. She decides to have him committed to a sanitarium. When they arrive at the sanitarium, a comedy of errors ensues.
