Volleyball to have Dig Pink NightOctober 17, 2011 at 12:50 PM
The volleyball team is having a dig pink night for breast cancer awareness on Thursday October 27 @ 7:00pm. The team is doing a dig-a-thon that night to raise money. Each player will be asking friends and family for pledges per dig in that match. We usually average 75 digs per match and the highest this year has been around 100 which would mean if you pledged a dime a dig, you would donate at the most $10.00. Please pledge if a player asks you and you can also contact a player or myself to donate to this worthy cause. The money will be donated to the Gibson County Relay for Life. The players will collect the money during the next week following the game. They will have a copy of the official stats showing the total number of digs and the amount of money that you pledged. We will also be honoring any breast cancer survivors, family and caregivers that night.
