Oakland City, IN - Oakland City University hosted the Lady Panthers from Kentucky Wesleyan on Tuesday night in the Johnson Center. There was little scoring to open the game. The Lady Oaks opened with a lead of 8-5 with just over thirteen minutes remaining in the first half. They were able to push the lead to 8 at 21-13 with 8:35 to play. Kentucky Wesleyan responded with a 19-4 run to finish the half with a 32-25 lead.

The Second half Lady Oaks kept nearly the same deficit throughout most of the first half, although Kentucky Wesleyan was able to push the lead to 17 at 40-57 with just over eight minutes to play. Oakland City cut the lead to 9, thanks to back to back three pointers by Sam Stahl with three and a half minutes left, but the Lady Panthers were able to match each of the Lady Oaks' scores to beat Oakland City by a final score of 69-59.

Oakland City returns to action Thursday, December 17, when they take on Bellarmine in the Johnson Center at 7:00 pm.
