Lady Oaks Drop Opening Game at NCCAA National Softball Tournament
May 14, 2010 at 9:38 AMThe Oakland City University Softball team lost to Simpson University 6-0 in their opening round matchup at the NCCAA National Softball Tournament, hosted by Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida. OCU carried the number five seed and was matched up against the number four seeded Simpson University. The Lady Oaks gave up six runs in the first two innings of play, while Simpson held OCU scoreless throughout the game. OCU moves on the play in the loser's bracket Friday, May 14, against the loser of #3 Indiana Wesleyan University vs #7 King College. More information may be found here.
