Lady Oaks Cruise 3-0 Over Brescia on Dig Pink Night

2008 - Coach Karen Adams' OCU volleyball team upped their record to 18-4 with a workman like win over Brescia in the Johnson Center Monday night. Led by Cortney Paro's 21 assists and Emily Prewitt's nine kills, the Lady Oaks won finished off the visitors 25-17, 25-17 and 25-15.

On the defensive end, junior Emily Andrews picked up eight digs, while senior Tiffany Potter scored on five aces.

The evening showcased Breast Cancer awareness, with the home team wearing flourishes of pink in a show of supoort. Dig Pink events are being held on High School and College campuses nationwide to help raise awareness about this devastating disease. Currently over 700 teams are supporting this important cause.
