Dr. Rebecca N. Wright - Associate Professor of Mathematics

I’m Dr. Rebecca Wright, Associate Professor of Mathematics at Oakland City University.  I’ve been teaching at OCU since 2000.  Throughout that time, I’ve taught Algebra, Trigonometry, Probability and Statistics, Calculus, Discrete Math, Linear Algebra, Modern Geometry, Numerical Analysis, History of Math, Number Theory, and Secondary Math Methods.  From 1996 to 2003, I was also the secretary for the School of Technology.

My husband, Brent, and I own and operate B & R Metalworks – a welding and fabrication facility in Oakland City.  We have two wonderful daughters: Samantha and Jessa.  We love to visit St. Louis for Cardinal Baseball and The Hill.  Spending time on the Ohio River or Kentucky Lake on the pontoon is also a plus.

I am a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Oakland City.  I sing in the choir and currently hold a position on the Parish Council.  I have also taught the preschool Sunday school class.

Please feel free to contact me at rwright@oak.edu.
