Dr. Carlotta Reynolds
Carlotta is a lifetime resident of Oakland City. Her family has been involved with OCU for many years. Her father, two brothers, a sister, brother-in-law, mother-in-law, and a son all have graduated from OCU. Her father as well as her father-in-law, were General Baptist ministers in southern Indiana for many years.
While living in Alaska, during her husband’s military years, she worked for the Federal Aviation Administration in various clerical positions. When she returned to the area she started a career in the coal industry working in different capacities over the years – Accounting Supv.; Payroll Accountant; Mine Personnel Supervisor; and Purchasing Agent.
While at OCU, she has served as the Assistant to Provost and as an Assistant Professor of Business; teaching classes in Adult and Extended Learning and on campus. These include: Labor Relations, Payroll Accounting; Management, and Marketing.
Carlotta lives in Oakland City with her husband, Dr. Norm Reynolds. They have 2 children and 2 grand daughters. She enjoys antiques, NASCAR, reading, and spending time with her family.
