T-Ray is OCU’s Winningest Baseball Coach
OCU’s Winningest baseball coach, posted his 250th victory during their Spring Break trip with a 9-7 win over Clark-Atlanta on March 22nd in Savannah, Georgia.
An overall record of 250-266-2 at the present time reflects the difficulty of the schedules we have had, and it gives further credit to the superb job Coach Fletcher has done for Oakland City’s baseball program. Over the years the Oaks have placed 16 players on All-American Teams or other special
recognitions for their seasons.
Coach Fletcher, in his 13th year at the helm of the Mighty Oaks, has taken OCU to the NCCAA National Finals 8 times in his tenure, the first ever coming in the 1996 season.
Coach Fletcher’s best finish came in 2005 when the Oaks finished 2nd after being a #9 seed for the tournament, the first ever team to accomplish such a high finish after being seeded #9 out of ten teams.
T-Ray has his Bachelor of Science degree and his MSM degree both from Oakland City University. He lives in Princeton, IN with his wife Abby and daughter Sophie.
