OCU - Muscatatuck
Launched in spring 2012, the Oakland City University/MUTC academic and community partnership takes place on the historic property approximately ten minutes east of North Vernon, Indiana. The Adult and Extended Learning classes are open to both area civilians and military service members/spouses. Classes are held in historic limestone buildings and in the premier Patriot Academy.
The mission of OCU AEL/MUTC is to provide curriculum that meets the particular needs of the North Vernon area and to promote an academic program of integrity within the context of Christian values.
"Bridging the Gap" of the military sector into a civilian community as the MUTC and OCU mission unfolks is a well intentioned mission and motto.
