Student Organizations

Student organizations are an important part of the Oakland City University experience. A student's personal growth is enhanced by building healthy relationships, pursuing worthwhile interests, and working together with others toward common goals.

Each club recognized by Oakland City University may elect its own officers, provided officer candidates meet the following requirements:

  • Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
  • Not have failed any classes during the previous academic year
  • Not be on academic probation
  • Not be on social probation

No student may serve as an officer of more than one club or organization at a time.
