DESCRIPTION: March 19th – April 5th\, 2012\, OCU students will call on Monday\, Tuesday\, and Thursday nights of each week from 6 pm – 8 pm.  This year\, Oakland City University's 26th Annual Phonathon will help raise funds for the repair and restoration of our beautiful Chapel.  The Provance Memorial Chapel is named in memory of Mrs. Jean Provance\, a gracious lady who was a great supporter and generous benefactor of the University.  Since its construction in 1968\, this iconic structure has served as a spiritual center for the OCU experience.  But\, time has taken its toll.  The combined forces of nature have eroded the structural foundation of the building\, and the interior is in dire need of renovation.  If we act now\, however\, we can restore the Chapel to its former glory\, and it will continue to serve as a spiritual beacon to OCU students for generations to come. Our goal this year is $75\,000.  Please mail your check payable to Oakland City University and memo line PHON2012.  You may also choose to make  your contribution online by visiting www.ocuadvancement.com.  If your contribution reaches us by March 16\, we will do our best not to call you.\n______________________________\nThis Event Downloaded From a Helios Calendar Powered Site
