Walker followed that up with a career best 78 to earn medallist honors in a tie-breaker at the St. Mary of the Woods Invitational, held at Hulman Links in Terre Haute, Indiana. The Lady Oaks shot a 384 as a team, a 31 stroke improvement in just two days, but were unable to defeat the Pomeroys, who shot 339 as a team.
Next up for the Lady Oaks is a trip to the National Christian College Athletic Association Midwest Regional Championship, held on Friday, September 12, and Saturday, September 13, at Timbergate Golf Course in Edinburgh, Indiana. The region champion will earn a spot in the NCCAA DI National Tournament.
