Personal Emily is the daughter of Gary and Cindy Gries who reside in Evansville, IN. Before entering F. J. Reitz High School, Emily had been a 2 year member of the Evansville Premier soccer team. At Reitz she was a member of the soccer, softball, and basketball teams carrying out at 3.5 GPA. Emily was a 3 year varsity soccer starter, recieved the 'Mental Attitude Award' in '98, recieved 'All-City Honorable Mention' in '00, held a Captain position her senior year and as a team won the sectional title in '98 and were ranked 4th in the state. She was very well known for her hard work ethic and postive attitude. At Oakland City University Emily has been a member of both the soccer and softball teams. In soccer she has set the record for most goals scored and most assists while also recieving the 'Offensive Player of the Year' in 02. She has earned the honor of being a two-time reciepient of 'Player of the Year' and a two-time member of NCCAA 1st Team All-Region. Emily's brother is currently attending Vincennes University majoring in Robotics, while her sister is the Community Relations Director for Habitat of Evansville
