Assistant Coach LeAnna Brinkley ![]() Coach Leanna Brinkley
Coach Binkley graduated from Oakland City University in 2004 with a BS degree in Physical Education and Health. She is currently working on her MA in Education here at OCU. She attended and played softball at Wabash Valley College in Mt. Carmel, Illinois her freshman year. While pitching for Oakland City University, Leanna broke and now holds several pitching records in only three seasons. She is the all-time strikeout leader in all categories: Single Game (13), Single Season (144) and Career (328). Leanna also holds the lowest Earned Run Average for a Season (1.74) and a Career (1.77). Coach Binkley was named to the NCCAA All-Region Team all three years and earned NCCAA All-American Honorable Mention her senior year. She also was a two- time NCCAA Scholar-Athlete. “I am very fortunate to have Leanna as an assistant coach. Not only is she very knowledgeable about softball, she is a great young Christian role model for our student-athletes to look up to”, states head coach Patti Buchta, “She was a complete joy to coach and now she brings that same enthusiasm and bright outlook with her as a coach for the "Mighty Oaks.” The former Princeton Community High School standout now resides in Mackey, Indiana with her husband Chris and dog Guido
