Bub Shaffer, from Sports Ambassadors, addresses the NCCAA Finals teams at a Fellowship Breakfast sponsored by the Tournament Committee. Mr. Shaffer's talk centered around the oppurtunities basketball affords for witnessing as to the glories of Jesus Christ to the world.

Mr. Shaffer has traveled extensively, and has the stories to tell of it, and gives all the credit to God for making him a basketball player. Being a player opens doors for individuals and therefore affords the oppurtunities to share The Word.

The teams had a very filling breakfast of biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, potatoes, french toast, bacon, sausage, and fruits. After eating their fill they assembled for Mr. Shaffers address. While eating and listening, players and coaches were encouraged to sit with with others teams and "fellowship" at this down-time of tourney action. All enjoyed the time to just be friends.

Many made the effort to shake Bud's hand after the speech and each was offered a word of encouragment for the work they do.

Below is Jon Ensign from Asbury College. Jon walks in his faith and witnesses well to others as evidenced by the service project he participated in.
