2005 Games  20    Goals  2    Assists  1 O'Neil showed flashes of undoubted ability during the 2004 season but a lack of confidence and size hampered his effectiveness. A spring spent in the weight room and a season of experience in college soccer should see Shawn emerge as a real threat in '06. High School Shawn attended Whitley Bay High school in the Northeast of England and was a starting striker for his school adn club teams. He also had trials with Newcastle United of the EPL. Personal Shawn is the only child of Kevin and Sheela O'Neil. He enjoys golf and is an avid Newcastle United fan.
