Coach T. Ray Fletcher has taken the Oakland City University men's baseball team to the NCCAA finals on six occasions, and the Oaks have captured eight Mideast Regional Championships. The baseball team finished in second place, as NCCAA National Runner-Up, in 2001.

Mighty Oaks Split Weekend Series at Urbana

The Mighty Oaks travelled to Urbana University to play back to back double headers over the weekend, losing the first game on Saturday 2-9 but winning the second game 8-7. That win moved the Oaks even on the season with a record of 13-13 while giving Coach Fletcher his 300th victory as the coach of the Mighty Oaks. The Sunday double headers saw the Oaks split again, winning the first game 5-3 but losing the second game 2-16. Coach Fletcher and his team left Urbana with a record of 14-14, already three wins ahead of last season's total.
Saturday's Senior Day Double Header Start Time Moved Up

The decision has been made to move the start time for Saturday's double header against Ohio Dominican University up to 10:00 am from 12:00 pm due to the threat of rain. The Mighty Oaks' seniors will be recognized between games rather than before the first game
