OCU Athletic Department to Host Golf ScrambleOakland City University Director of Athletics, Mike Sandifar has announced the date for the 2006 Oakland City University Athletic Department - Pepsi Cola Invitational Golf Scramble. This year's event will be held Saturday, September 9 at the Oakland City Golf Club with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. The entry fee for the four-person scramble is $400/per team or $100/per person. Following completion of the scramble, each person participating will receive a steak dinner prepared by OCU's Athletic Department and drinks supplied by Pepsi Cola Bottling Co. of Vincennes. This fun-filled afternoon of golf and fellowship is planned as a Tax Deductible fundraiser for the OCU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and includes; 18 holes of golf, cart, sleeve of balls, a six pack of Pepsi Cola products, and Aquafina bottled water at tee boxes 2, 5, and 7. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams and the last place team as follows: FIRST PLACE: Golf and cart for four at Sultan's Run Golf Course in Jasper SECOND PLACE: Golf and cart for four at Country Oaks Golf Club in Montgomery, IN. THIRD PLACE: Golf and cart for four at Pride's Creek Golf Course in Petersburg, IN. LAST PLACE: Four tickets to OCU's Athletic Auction to be held on September 30, 2006.
