Meet Coach Brick Briscoe

Brick Briscoe has joined the staff of the Oakland City Athletic Department as both Men's and Women's golf coach for the 2007-08 seasons. Brick, a life-long Petersburg and Pike County resident, with a few stints in other cities, has welcomed the challenge as something he has always wanted to do.

"Coaching in college has been a goal of mine for several years" states the Director of Golf at Pride's Creek Golf Club. Brick has played and taught golf at Pride's Creek since it's inception.

A 1985 graduate of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale with a degree in Film, Brick has directed and produced several full length films and documentaries related to sports and other subjects.

Coach Briscoe, with wife Marta and daughter Emma, reside in Petersburg, Indiana.
