PERSONAL: Katelyn is a very competitive and accomplished golfer. She has placed 2nd in the Pocket Athletic Conference tournament twice. Her junior year of High School she tied for medalist honors in the sectional by shooting a 78, and in her senior year Katelyn advanced through to the Regional by shooting an 86. Katelyn was MVP of the golf team for all four years of High School. Her career low score is 38 for nine holes on a par 36 course. Three times Katelyn has won the "best putter" award given each season the person with the lowest "putts per round" average.. As you would expect, putting is the favorite part of her game, and probably the strongest. As any golfer knows, putting wins matches. Katelyn also teaches swimming, youth golf lessons, and track. Her favorite courses are the Jasper Country Club and the Huntingburg Country Club.
