Ashley Engler

A lifelong resident of Gibson County, Ashley Engler is in her first year as Cheerleading Advisor for the Oakland City University Athletic teams. Engler also serves as Administrative Assistant to the Director of Athletics, Mike Sandifar.

Ashley has the responsibility of not only supervising the Cheer Squad, but recruiting, advising, and the overall operations of the group. She also is in charge of the fundraising as it pertains to the group.

A 2004 graduate of Oakland City University, Engler holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and a Master of Science in Management Degree.

Ashley's Administrative Assistant duties include student/athlete eligibility forms, greeting the public, answering the phones, athletic department deposits, and most importantly, working with the individual coaches of 13 varsity sports. In general, her duties amount to "running the day-to-day" activities of Oakland City University Athletic Department.
