Master of Science - Education

The Master of Science in Education (M. S. ED) program is for the student wishing to continue their professional education.  The M. S. ED program is designed for potential candidates who have completed a baccalaureate degree, who are seeking to get into the field of education at a post-secondary level.

Admission Requirements:

  1. A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a grade point average of 2.75 or better (based on a 4.0 grading system)
  2. Two (2) character references from persons able to attest to the applicant’s suitability as a prospective graduate student
  3. Writing Sample reflecting personal goals with the objectives of the M.S.ED program as reflected in the OCU Mission Statement
  4. Current resume reflecting work experience, educational background, professional experience, professional activities, community service and other relevant information relating to the applicant’s leadership background
  5. Official transcript from all undergraduate and graduate institutions of study
  6. If the candidate currently holds a valid teaching license, a copy of that license
  7. Completed application and application fee
