MAT Admissions Requirements
MAT Admissions Requirements

A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
-
A grade point average of 2.75 (B-) or better (based on a 4.0 grading system)
-
Two (2) character references from persons able to attest to the candidate’s suitability as a prospective graduate teacher
-
Documentation/description of a record of a minimum of two (2) years successful teaching in education
-
Scores from the GRE or MAT taken within the past 10 years
-
Copy of a valid teaching license

Writing sample reflecting personal goals with the objectives of the MAT program as reflected in the OCU Mission Statement

Applicant must pass any State testing requirements prior to licensure
-
A letter of recommendation from applicant's building prinipal or superintendent
-
Current resumet reflecting work experience, educational background, professional experience, professional activities, community services and other relevant information relating to the applicant's leadership background

Official transcript from all undergraduate and graduate instutions of study
-
Completed application and application fee
