Note from the Dean
Welcome to Oakland City University’s School of Business. You are beginning an intellectual journey at a university dedicated to enriching your lives professionally, personally, and spiritually.
The first priorities of the School of Business faculty are maintaining the vision of the University founders and exceptional instruction. The University was formed in 1885 by a committed group of General Baptist pioneers. The founders set out to see that the gospel of Jesus Christ was proclaimed through education. The School of Business faculty is committed to ensuring that vision is continued. Our faculty is dedicated to developing a well-rounded student – holistically educated in the matters of the heart, mind, and soul.
Objectives of the School of Business are to guide, foster, and encourage students in order that they gain the capacity to critically and caringly think. Degree programs are designed to equip the student with the tools to efficiently and effectively resolve ever changing challenges and problems encountered in life, ethically and intellectually compete on a global scale, and add value to others.
Oakland City University School of Business recognizes the disparate educational needs of students at various times in their lives. The School of Business offers an array of business administration degree options.
