STUDENT ENROLLMENT STATUS

Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours to be eligible to apply for and receive a Federal Direct Loan. Enrollment status will be based on only the hours that are required for the completion of a student’s degree in the Graduate Program. Courses taken but not required for the completion of a student’s degree will not be counted for the purpose of financial aid.

Enrollment Status Graduate Hours
Full Time 9 credit hours per semester
Half Time 6 credit hours per semester

Loan funds may be subject to change for less than full-time enrollment. Students who drop to less than half-time enrollment are no longer eligible to receive loan funds.
