On Friday, Nov. 2nd, Oakland City University celebrated the 122nd anniversary of it’s founding. A convocation was held in Johnson Center during which two Honorary Doctorates were awarded. Jack L. Eberhardt was presented with a doctorate of divinity degree and Holly Dunn Pendleton was awarded a Doctor of Humanities Degree. The program was well attended by students, staff and representatives of the General Baptist Headquarters where Dr. Eberhardt is the Director of International Missions for the General Baptist Denomination since 1996. Following the program, a luncheon was served to the honorees, their families and invited guests. |
