owns and manages a small retail operation.  They have three children who all live with their families in Alaska.

The Hargraves’ 4th of July picnic has now grown in attendance to over 100 people.  They come from all over Alaska and several other states.  Rene White Johnson, pictured above with her mother Carolyn White, is a native of Oakland City and lives in Dillingham, Alaska.  Darroll included this note with the photo:  “There are so few of us to keep OCU represented in Alaska.  We keep thinking that people who are coming to visit Alaska could come to the 4th picnic.  Anyone would be welcome to get in touch with us for directions to our place.  Anyone coming into Alaska in a motor home would pass our house by just a couple of miles.”

Text Box: Prayer Guy Sez,
“There are lots of reasons for not praying, there just aren’t any good ones.
You have a personal invitation to meet with the God of all creation at anytime, in anyplace, alone or with others, to ask Him for anything your heart desires. You have His mighty promises to stir your faith, and His Holy Spirit to guide your praying.
You have the evidence of 2000 years of answered prayers, and your own experience of having been touched by His presence. You have nothing in this world that comes close to the awesome privilege and responsibility that is yours in prayer. So what’s your excuse?”
