Steve Englehardt, PHR, ‘99, reports his promotion  to Corporate Director of Human Resources for Hausner Hard-Chrome Inc., in Owensboro, Kentucky.    Steve has also been appointed as Commissioner serving on City of Owensboro Civil Service Commission in Jaunary 2007.  
2000’s 
Lindsey McCully Payne, ‘03, reports she was married to Corey Payne in May and is living in Slaughters KY. Lindsey is beginning her 4th year of teaching at Webster County High School where she is the Science Department Co Chair.
Juanita L. Scoggan, ‘02, reports that she and her husband, Bill, just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.  ‘Nita says that “We are thanking the Lord for Bill’s good health in recovering from cancer.  I teach at OCUB and serve as President of the OCU Advisory Board.”  

The Alumni Office received a post card from Ron Enlow, ‘07, currently serving with the armed forces in Iraq.  Ron has been completing his bachelor’s degree while in Iraq and plans to start the Masters program with OCU when he returns to the US.  Ron resides in Washington, Indiana with his wife Candy and four sons.

We are always pleased when alumni and friends of OCU drop by to visit at Cockrum Hall, the historical home of Alumni Affairs and Development.  Cockrum Hall is open from 8 am to 4 pm weekdays.  You are always welcome! 

Recent visitors include:

Marietta Smith, retired secretary for Alumni Affairs, Oakland City, Indiana. Marietta spent a month in Colorado this summer cataloguing wild flowers.

Carol Corn Graf ‘65 of St. George, Utah.  Carol toured the campus and Cockrum Hall with Susan Fritz Kifer, att.  ‘60s of Princeton, Indiana.  Carol remarked “Who knew we could spend an entire day sightseeing in Oakland City?”

The Copeland family of Cambridge City, Indiana visited in July, including Jack ‘49, Debbie ’73 Copeland Hamm, Susan Peckinpaugh, Janet Sweet and Lee Copeland.
